Hey Beat! It's Shiki. Listen, I have this really huge favor to ask. I went shopping today and I got way too much stuff. One of them includes a dressmaker's dummy that weighs about a ton. Think you could help me bring it home? I'll pay you back. I promise!

Bwuuh! Ya sure ya been outside, Shiki? Ain't 'sactly a good time for shoppin'.

The mall was heated, Beat. Plus, I got a lot of new coats and jackets! All warm and toasty.

Naw, man! I meant ya think it's a good idea to lug those things 'round with all that snow?

Oh. That's right...

[Can you HEAR the disappointment in her voice, Beat?]

...Guess ya can't carry somethin' like that by yourself. [And he'll be grabbing a jacket from a hanger.]

[Beat has made Shiki one happy girl~]

I'm at the mall in Somni. It's by the--[gives directions that she hopes are clear and straight to the point.].

[Shiki leaves a big bag of homemade chocolate out on the doorstep of the Rhyme and Beat's apartment. She went all out on the molds she found, even found skull and bell-shaped ones so she's really proud of this batch.

Hey, Beat. Me and a friend are having some sort of party tonight in the field at Espoir for people who don't know what they're doing for the holidays. Feel free to come, if you want, and bring whoever you want too.

[On Christmas morning, Ty Lee creeps into Beat's room, moving a large package into the room before coming back in with a smaller present. She makes her way softly over his bed where Beat is sprawled in his sleep and she pushes his blonde hair out of the way before kissing his nose lightly to wake him up.]

[Even if when he feels that light kiss on his nose it takes a while for Beat to actually stir from his sleep. Cracking an eye open at first and then both, he's greeted by a smiling face that he's glad to see every morning. It doesn't hit him immediately on what day it was so he greets her as he normal would on any other day.]

'Morning.

Good morning, sleepy head. [This time she kisses him on the lips before moving the present towards him.] And Merry Christmas! Think you're awake enough to open your present?

[He kisses her back but she moves away a little too quickly for his liking. And that's when it dawns on him.]

Oh yeah... Merry Christmas. [He pushes himself up from the bed, rubbing the sleep out of his eyes.] Yeah, think I'm up 'nough.

[You'll get more of that later, Beat, don't worry.

She lets out a giggle, curling up on the bed beside him waiting for him to open his present. Inside the nicely wrapped box, Beat will find a snowboarding beanie, a cool looking pair of headphones and a necklace that is the matching one to hers.]

Go on! Once you open that one, I'll let you open the other one. [She motions to the other package which is leaning up against the wall.]

A'ight. Jus' how many d'ya get for me, Flips?

[He says that jokingly before taking the box and he rips through the wrapper. Upon opening the box a smile grows on his face. He removes the contents from the container taking a short time to admire each one. The beanie was perfect if the snow kept up and the style of headphones was just right up his alley. It had been a while since he's gotten a new necklace for himself too, and he couldn't help but beam a bit more upon seeing that she had a similar one with her.]

Damn. These stuff's real tight, yo!

Enough. It is our first Christmas together after all.

[Ty Lee lets out a please laugh upon seeing how much he likes the gifts she chose for him. She hoped he would anyway. After he's opened that present, she hops off the bed and grabs the other package that was leaning up against the wall containing a snowboard. It hadn't been too much trouble hiding it from him - she had simply stored it in the back of her closet where she knew Beat never went.]

Here open this one now!

[As soon as he laid eyes on the gift, Beat had a vague idea of what it had been, especially because he had gotten something similar the year before during the Secret Santa event. Putting the other gift aside, he gets off the bed and heads to where Ty Lee stood.]

S'like you're more amped up 'bout this, yo!

[A laugh escaped his lips as he began unwrapping the gift. He was right about it being a snowboard but he still couldn't hide the surprise after actually seeing it. Damn, Ty Lee had great taste (not that he doubted that before).]

Whoa... this board's sweet. Thanks, Flips! [He pulls her close and plants a quick peck on her forehead.]

Of course I am! I put a lot of thought into your gift after all.

[When he does she nuzzles his chest and wraps her arms around his middle.]

I'm glad you like it. I know you had one already but having another one never hurt, right?

Got that right. I'mma try this thing right away, yo. [But before that...] Now's my turn.

[He pries himself away from Ty Lee, heading over to his closet. Opening the door, he reaches over the clothes to the top shelf and procures two messily wrapped boxes. He hands one over to her, containing a rather sexy dress he had Shiki make (although this wasn't exactly how he had thought it would turn out.) for his girlfriend and a necklace that he though Ty Lee would like.]

Merry Christmas. Open that one first, see if ya like it.

[Ty Lee's face lights up when she sees the dress and the necklace but she gets up off the bed to hold the dress to her body.]

I like it! Did you go and buy this yourself, Beat?

[Beat can't help but blink a couple of times considering that definitely wasn't what he was expecting Shiki to make. He allows himself to swallow the lump in his throat but the slight blush on his cheeks didn't seem to be going away.]

I, uh, got some help from Shiki, you know?

[She notices that blush, Beat. She slyly walks up closer to him with a cheeky grin on her face.]

That was sweet of her. Did you think this dress up or did she?
