Hey Beat! It's Shiki. Listen, I have this really huge favor to ask. I went shopping today and I got way too much stuff. One of them includes a dressmaker's dummy that weighs about a ton. Think you could help me bring it home? I'll pay you back. I promise!

[On Christmas morning, Ty Lee creeps into Beat's room, moving a large package into the room before coming back in with a smaller present. She makes her way softly over his bed where Beat is sprawled in his sleep and she pushes his blonde hair out of the way before kissing his nose lightly to wake him up.]

[Even if when he feels that light kiss on his nose it takes a while for Beat to actually stir from his sleep. Cracking an eye open at first and then both, he's greeted by a smiling face that he's glad to see every morning. It doesn't hit him immediately on what day it was so he greets her as he normal would on any other day.]

Good morning, sleepy head. [This time she kisses him on the lips before moving the present towards him.] And Merry Christmas! Think you're awake enough to open your present?

Hi, Beat. Sorry if I haven't been popping up on the network or anywhere lately - it's just that I got a job as a secretary intern at the prosecutor's office.

Anyway, I just wanted to know that you're a really amazing guy. You're tough but at the same time I know that's not all you are. I had fun pulling pranks with you, talking to you about all sorts of stuff, and everything.

I'm going to miss you a lot. I can't remember the last time I TPed houses and got busted for it. But getting busted was actually worth it! Even if, yeah, Mr. Edgeworth was right to bust me.

By the way, you should really watch I'm in a Ninja Band. It's a new TV show I think you'll like.

[Why you gotta do that Shiki? Beat was probably having the best sleep he's had in a while and you just had to ruin it with your squealing and your early morning phone calls. Because seriously, he looks like death from his side of the Dreamberry.

He blinks, trying to focus his eyes on the device. Hngh, too bright.]

Shiki...? Whatchu talkin' 'bout? It's... [A glance off to the side, probably towards the clock that sat on his bedside table.] ...Hell, it's freaking 3am, yo.

[She merely giggles some more. Sorry Beat. Shiki has left the building... so to speak.]
