[The video feed turns on and Beat comes into view. It looks like something is on his mind and he opens his mouth to speak but then closes it again.]

[Without saying anything he shuts off the feed. Only to turn it back on a few seconds later. Don't ask. It's a pride thing.

Anyone who knows the boy may notice that he's acting rather off from his usual self. He scratches the back of his head nervously as he tries to piece a coherent sentence together.]

Yo. Anyone got like... any tips 'bout how to tell someone you're sorry?

[And quietly, to himself (although, you're more than welcome to overhear it):] Geez. The hell am I doin'?

[There's a loud thud before the video actually turns on. The only thing that's seen is the ceiling and a piece of cloth covering part of the camera. Some rustling is heard, and it's only a moment later when a loud shout echoes through the room.]

What the hell happened, yo!?

[More rustling is heard as well as the sound of something that sounded too light to be a human's footsteps. The sound gets closer and closer until finally a golden labrador appears on-screen. And it's wearing a rather familiar beanie to those who may know who owned it. The dog pants for a few seconds, until--]

A'ight, who the hell thought that this was gonna be funny, yo?! 'Cause it ain't!

[The feed opens to a rather awkward angle. It seems the Dreamberry had fallen out of Beat's pocket and had turned on the video. It's obvious that he looks tired and drained, definitely because of the lack of sleep for over a day now. The nightmares had begun to become so unbearable that he had figured it would be better if he just stayed up.

Things only got worse when he found Rhyme in the same situation Shiki had been a few weeks back. A sleep coma, was it? He's seen leaning against what looks like a bed frame. It obvious it wasn't his own. The viewer could probably see a small hand peeking by the edge of the screen.

He lets out a sigh as he rubs the back of his hand against his eye, forcing himself to stay awake. Slowly, he says something beneath his breath.]

Jus' hang in there, Rhyme.

[Some shuffling is heard as Beat searches his pocket for his Dreamberry. The light is a little blinding as he finally pulls it out. The video focuses on Beat lying on the floor on his stomach where he landed earlier after taking that antidote.]

What the hell happened? I feel like a truck hit me.

[He frowns for a second, realizing that probably wasn't the best of metaphors. He simply brushes it off and tries to flip himself over and onto his back.]

It ain't even funny, man.

Yo! Ain't there some place a guy could get some decent curry 'round here?!

[Is that a whole pack of instant curry on the counter behind him?]

This place is like a freakin' ghost town, yo. The freaky decorations ain't really helpin' wit' that. Ain't there anythin' to do here? Maybe somethin' to get the place pumpin', s'gotta be louder.

Anyone got any ideas?

[Have some loud beeping noises and static before an annoyed pair of blue eyes and furrowed brows graces your screen.]
